As mentioned in the “Three Cheers For The FTC” post, The FTC has reacted to the abuses of the internet marketing community and is now requiring the full disclosure of any business relationships between a reviewer or affiliate marketer and the product, program or service being reviewed or promoted.
We fully endorse this move and believe that being up front with this information is the best strategy over the long term.
Our Approach:
This site is primarily intended to have fun blogging about my toy – ’03 Chevy Tracker and hopefully it will develop into a place where Chevy and Geo Tracker and Suzuki Samurai, Sidekick and Vitara fans will find enjoyable and like to hang out.
Getting my Tracker running and looking just right is going to involve some reading, searching and learning.
Where do I find this? How can I do that? Can I swap a Chevy Tracker part for one that fits the Suzuki Vitara? How can I find the best or at least a great price for this or that?
I’m running into these and more questions almost every day. As we do research, we will learn things, find products and services that solve some of our problems and places where we can purchase stuff that we’ve spent some or a lot of time looking for. In some cases, when we do, and are satisfied, we’ll mention it to our visitors, in the hope that this will cut down the time needed for our readers to narrow down the choices and quickly identify those which might meet their needs.
As such, the visitor may see ads and links on this site, as well as possibly, a “resources page”.
